Speed climbing is a race against the clock. Climbing as sport (1) was / has been around for a long time, but competition speed climbing (2) became / has become popular only a few years ago. Competitors try to climb a fifteen-metre wall as quicly as they can. When they rach the top must hit a button to stop the clock.
