Personal statement: Jan Kowalczyk I am interested in joining the Stars of the Future course this summer. I sing in a band with my friends. We practise every Saturday and play at small festivals in the town. I have piano classes after school and I've passed my grade 4 piano exam. I love music and spend all my free time listening to different styles of music and writing my own songs. Next year, I plan to volunteer in a local club to teach young children about music. I think music is incredibly important because it helps you to express yourself.
