In 21st century, you can see everything on the internet amd social media. Travelling gives you an opportunity to touch, smell, experience. However in my opinion travelling is not the only way to learn about the world.
Learning about how different cultures live, gives us new point of view on the world. You can educate yourself on such topics as history, literature around the world or even language that they speak.
Nevertheless we also can learn about everything above on the internet. It takes us less time and we have more opportunities. Travelling is possible now online. I think that the reason that so many people can speak for example English so well or that everyone knows whats going on in the world is beacuse of the intermet. No other thing can connect and teach us that fast and well. Of course, im not saying there arent any cons of the technology that is around us. You cant focus on work as much as you could, you spend too much time scrolling through social media and it cause many insecurities. But it is also helpful. Thats why i dont think travelling is the only way to learn about the world.
