Adam Sandler was born on September 9, 1966 in New York. He is the fourth child of American Jews Stan and Judy Sandler. His older siblings are Scott, Liz and Val. Sandler began appearing as a comedian at a Boston comedy club. He was discovered there by Dennis Miller, thanks to which Adam found himself on "Saturday Night Live" as the writer of the script. A year later he was already acting as an actor. Playing there, he gained great popularity, and he left the show in 1995 to focus on his acting career. In the same year, he played the title role in the movie "Billy Madison". In 1998, he earned an MA in Fine Arts from New York University. His role as Robbie Hart in "From Weddings to Weddings" brought him great popularity.
